Making the Most of Fractional Support
Growth, centered on people
I can’t tell you how excited I am to be the CEO of The More Than Giving Co. From my first meeting with Vicki, I saw such potential in how this approach could support nonprofit organizations, and I’m truly humbled by the trust she has placed in me to carry this work — and MTG — forward.
My work is about growth, centered on people. I’ve spent most of my career building sales organizations from the ground up, working with early-stage companies as they transitioned away from being founder-led.
Vicki laid the groundwork by making the case for fractional staff. I plan to focus on how organizations can best use the fractional support that’s now available to them.
We’re asking three questions:
How do we ensure nonprofits have access to the range of talent they need?
How can organizations work with fractional talent more effectively, whether they have one administrator or several fractional professionals?
How do we increase buy-in at the board level so executive directors who know they need fractional support get it approved?
I'm most energized when I'm interacting directly with clients to understand what’s important to them. These areas will be informed by what's actually happening on the ground in nonprofit organizations.
I believe nonprofits do essential work in our communities. My hope is that by continuing to develop fractional resources, More Than Giving can not only reach more organizations but serve them more effectively, increasing their sustainability and their impact.
